The screens are either 11 inches or 13.3 inches with prices ranges at an affordable level for everyone-at under US$1,000. This price range has a penetration rate similar to smartphone or the iPad .

Experts has commented that this may be a challenge , with the exception Of the Acer S3, which runs on entry-level specs and uses a hard disk instead of an SSD, all other UltraBook here cost more $1,400 . It is still relatively difficult for manufacturers to achieve the components at that price point yet , as the volume will need to be raked up to get such low price of which Intel hope that when more UltraBooks become available , this will drive down manufacturer costs and lower retail prices.

Consumers especially those is emerging markets, are extremely price conscious even if they are attracted to technology products, Some US analyst predicts that by 2015, 45 per cent of global laptop shipments will be ultrabooks , it forecasts that growth will accelerate from 1.5 per cent this year to 15 per cent in 2012, maybe 30 per cent in 2013 and 40 per cent in 2014.

However Intel remains optimistic and believe its goal its hitting 40 per cent in the next year was challenging but achievable. Analyst believe that the UltraBook are attractive because they are significantly cheaper than it predecessors in the him-and-light category which used to cost double the price.As long as the price is cheap , with function as good or better than a tablet, it will eventually hold a major portion of the market’s share ,as many netizens does not really uses all the function of a Notebook , Ultra books will serves well for such sector of the consumer world

Lot smashing and grabbing through San Francisco, King Jinx taking a waffle-cone sized bite out of the Chrysler Building, and Mr. Lizard – that slimey scourge of a sea monster– terrorizing Tokyo

LIVING EARTH HD WORLD CLOCK AND WEATHER (US$1) :

A sea of more complicated and ambitious apps, Living Earth is beautifully simple, it offers a live satellite view of the globe so you can glimpse cloud cover in your area , while a graphic tells you the current temperature, you can add favourite locations and, for streaking weather events, you can take a snapshot of the globe and share it . When I first started the App up, the first thing I noticed was the super realistic blue marble on screen. The Day/Night, Light/Dark sides of the Earth are both brilliant, especially considering the cloud cover is accurate meteorologically and updates often with the changes in real life.

You can set up multiple time zones and flip through, and as you do the earth spins and focuses on the spot where it’s providing you the information for (with a faint white glow), you can also set the earth to rotate on its own, which is one of my favorite things to do. I set the ‘Leave Screen On’ while it’s on the dock on my desk and simply have it slowly rotating around and around, from day to night, while still providing me with the weather and forecast info, it’s a pretty and functional desk accessory.

While at this price, this App definitely fits the bill, I do hope that they stick to their word (in the App Description on iTunes) and add an alarm clock in a future update. If they can manage to add a few more functional features, they might be able to boost the price up, however, if they added an alarm and kept it at this price, they would have one of the best and most visually stunning alarm clock Apps available.

Plants Vs Zombies HD

The iPad version features the entire adventure mode as well as quick play mode which is unlockable after completion of adventure. Know your type of plants and load up on energy sources early (sunflowers and sun-shrooms ) it is especially useful for deviously difficult mini-games like ‘’bobsled bonanza’’ where the actions is frenzied and you need to blocks fast while you prep your garden against rapid fire onslaughts.

Football HD

it is classic foosball action here though there are only three rows of players to control. Instead of the traditional 1-2-5-3 foosball formation , you get 1-3-2 play against the Ipad or a friend

Ball control is though with the virtual poles especially when up against the maniac speed of the tablet’s computers at the hardest setting.

The game provide all the features of a regular foosball table. There is single player against the computer or two player on the same iPad. There are three bars to control, and you can slide them, and spin them.

The controls will definitely take awhile to get used to. You will never feel as in control as using a real table, Once you get the hang of it you will be able to pass the ball from one offensive player to the other, and hit in the goal quicker than the opponent can move their goalie . Moving and spinning your three different bars will become second nature, though be prepared for a steep learning curve. Since there are three bars of players you will only be able to control two of them, and the best way are your two index fingers. Do not spin the poles, the board is too small and if you do, it can result in a own goal. Though it is not mentioned , up to six can play with everyone in control of one pole. Foosball HD gives you a digital version of the physical table as close as it could be to the real thing. With that said, it’s still much more tedious than the real thing, but presents fun in its own way

OmniGraffle for the iPad is the best thing I’ve found for creating flow charts and mind maps on my iPad, it combines the best of all three off the aforementioned programs and deliver them on the iPad. Touch screen- via what is possibly the best user interface of any iPad app read that again- I said any iPad app . I wish most of the other iPad apps I use regularly were as throughtfully designed, powerful, and easy to use as OmniGraffle.

If you ever have to print documents on your Mac or PC –whether locally over your Wi-Fi network or remotely over 3G or EDGE- print to share is what you need. Plus, it’s so chock-full of other useful features that I hardly know where to start.

Print n Share is easy to set up. First install WePrint (freely available on their website) on your MAC or PC, and then download and install Print n Share on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Simply start up the app and let it know that you have WePrint installed and connect to the same network as the desktop running it. From then on, you can print any files directly on your iPhone that can be printed from the desktop running WePrint.

A nice touch for the app is the ability to print contact information from your Contacts section of the iPhone.
